Personalized Care, Meaningful Connection

Our Honolulu center brings together innovative, evidence-informed therapies tailored to your individual needs. Rather than focusing on a single symptom, we consider your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals to develop an approach that is genuinely your own.

Our Honolulu center brings together innovative, evidence-informed therapies in a warm and welcoming environment. Rather than focusing on a single symptom, we consider your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals to develop an approach that is genuinely your own.

Here, care is a partnership. We provide the guidance, resources, and encouragement to help you make informed choices and move forward with greater confidence. Every step is centered on helping you build a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide personalized, innovative care that helps people feel better, understand their health, and create meaningful, lasting change. We are committed to offering a welcoming environment where every person feels heard, supported, and empowered to live a healthier, happier, and more connected life.

About This Special Place

Connections Wellness Center is proud to call ʻĀina Haina home. Rooted in historic Wailupe—“kite water”—this special valley has long represented a connection between mountain, fresh water, land, and sea. That same spirit of connection inspires our philosophy of wellness: reconnecting people with their bodies, their health, and their natural ability to heal and thrive.

Meet the Team

Lee S. Austin, APRN, CRNA • Founder & Owner

Lee brings more than 30 years of experience administering and managing anesthesia. A fully licensed nurse anesthetist with two master’s degrees, she has practiced in a wide variety of settings—from major medical centers, including Cleveland Clinic, to rural reservations and mission work in Haiti. Throughout her career, she developed a deep appreciation for listening to and connecting with her patients.

A personal life challenge led Lee to research the growing field of ketamine therapy. As a former athlete experiencing pain and physical limitations following an injury, she was also motivated to explore the potential applications of peptide therapy.

More

Frederick “Freddy” Grissom • Level II Reiki Practitioner

Freddy has been part of Connections Wellness Center from the beginning. Together with his father, he helped build the center and shape it into the warm, welcoming space it is today. His father’s artwork can be seen throughout the center.

A Level II Reiki practitioner, Freddy studied with Nicole Adarna of Mauli Ola Reiki Healing. Originally from South Carolina, he was raised on Oʻahu and has a strong personal connection to the community the center serves.

Freddy offers Reiki as a complementary practice intended to encourage relaxation, personal connection, and a sense of well-being alongside a client’s existing care.
